Originally founded in 1991 as Harlem RBI, DREAM has grown to annually serve more than 2,500 youth across East Harlem and the South Bronx through a network of seven PreK-12, extended-day, extended-year DREAM Charter Schools and community sports-based youth development programs. DREAM is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as our Flag Football Head Coach for our middle school competitive team. This role reports to the Middle School OST and Athletics Director. The ideal candidate has experience coaching middle school-aged students, and has an understanding of flag football as a player and coach.
Coaches are key members of the Athletics team and ensure the continued excellence, growth and sustainability of DREAM’s Athletics programs.

DREAM is thrilled to announce an opening for the position of Middle School Flag Football Head Coach at East Harlem Middle School! This exciting role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about coaching sports and mentoring young athletes. As the Head Coach, you will have the opportunity to guide our competitive middle school flag football team, creating an environment where every player can thrive and develop both their skills on the field and their character off of it. With your experience in coaching middle school students and your understanding of flag football, you will design practice plans, lead up to three practices a week, and manage team strategies on game days. Your role will also involve fostering positive behaviors in our athletes, ensuring their safety, and upholding the core values of DREAM throughout the season. We're looking for someone who communicates well, believes in the potential of every child, and is eager to make a lasting impact in our community's youth lives. The season starts on March 17, 2025, and runs through June 30, 2025, encompassing practices and games, primarily in the afternoons and on weekends.
